    Default ASP and querying database on Intranet

    Im building a small intranet using Dreamweaver, Im not sure how to embed my ASP code to query the database.I want to insert a VB form on the page to facilitate the querying but am not sure how it will all fit together - Any help will be MOST appreciated, thanks!

    &nbsp;<BR>Basically you build a form to gather the info together for whatever database function you want to implement (query, add a record, delete or whatever) and then the form itmes are posted to an asp page that does all the database access and this then passes the results back.<BR><BR>Your form would be setup something like<BR>&#060;FORM name="myForm" method="POST" action="myDBfunction.asp"&#062;<BR>&#060;input type="text" name="myField"&#062;<BR>&#060;/FORM&#062;<BR><BR>then myDBfunction.asp would refer to form elements posted to it like<BR><BR>Request.Form("myField")<BR><BR><BR><BR ><BR> has lots of good articles but you may find you can&#039;t see the wood for the trees.<BR><BR>Try the FAQs as a startpoint
