Default Using ActiveX exe from ASP

    Hi,

Does anyone have any experience of calling activeX exe's from ASP? We have built an web application mostly calling ActiveX dll's from ASP, but there is 1 part that needs to run out of process from the website since it can take a few hours to complete. We are looking for pointers on how to integrate IIS (we are using both 4.0 and 5.0 so would appreciate views on both),MTS/COM+, ASP & ActiveX exe. The whole idea is to kick off several of these processes at once without crippling the web server and for the user to be able to continue browsing.

Thanks in advance,

Kelvin.
