Default Can anyone solve this one?

    Here's the scenario:

I have an Access database on a local server, this has tables which are linked to an oracle database sitting somewhere else on the network. When I open these tables in the Access database I get asked for a username and password which I enter and then gain access to the tables. The problem is, when I open a connection to this Access database in ASP and then subsequently try to query the linked tables, I get an error message saying the link has failed. I think this is because it needs the username and password, how do I pass the usrename and password to the Oracle database?

(Confused yet?!)

Default Why would you do this?

Running your database calls to an Oracle database "through" Access is an enormous overhead.

Is there a reason you aren't connecting directly to the Oracle database?
