Default Server Side code in a client side function

I have a segment of server side code that needs to be executed every time the client side function is called. How can i make that happen ?

Default RE: Server Side code in a client side function

You have to do something tricky. You either have to make a complete call back to the server, which you obviously don&#039t want to do. If the server-side call and client-side event must be synchronous (i.e., when the client side function occurs, the server side function must occur immeadately and the client-side cannot continue until the server-side is done), then you&#039re SOL. You&#039ve got to make a round-trip back to the server. If the events are asynchronous, then you can use a hidden frame.

So, when something happens, you just say something like:
parent.frmHiddenFrame.document.location.h ref = "doSomeServerCode.asp"

where frmHiddenFrame is a frame with size 0. If you need a more thorough explanation, just ask! :)
