I use an Oracle database. This god damned database is very good. Never fails. But one day, when I was working, the Oracle server was reset, and the server which keeps my ASP files stored suffered the consequences (it connects to the Oracle server for retrieveing data). I saw an error that I've never seen, and that occurred because the DB was down. I'm still a newbie on ASP. Here's a silly question. I hope somebody could lend me a hand.<BR><BR>Is there a way I could detect if the connection object fails to be created before the ADO error displays on screen, so I could customize this error's way of displaying?<BR><BR>Thanks!
