    Default OnClick in Javascript

    Hi, I have a default page which has a MacroMedia Flash on that page and it takes 60 sec to complete the Flash file , but in the mean time if i want to click on the page and go to next page - how can i go to next page ? i have used body OnClick but it is not working..<BR><BR>Any help is greatly appreciated.<BR>Thanks in Advance

    What you need is to call the event in the onreadystatechange event:<BR><BR>onClick is called only when the page is done loading. Since you have an object loading (the Flash item), onClick doesnt fire. <BR><BR>However, onreadystatechange is called when the page becomes "interactive" - that is, when the link or other elements on the page can be clicked upon.<BR><BR>Use it the same way you would an onclick event, but call it instead in the element you are clicking on, NOT the body tag.<BR><BR>&#060;a href="javascript:onreadystatechange(&#039;skip.htm l&#039;)"&#062;Click to skip&#060;/a&#062;<BR><BR>Note that NN doesnt support this event. <BR><BR>HTH<BR>
