Default HowTo: Transaction support with commit/rollback

    Hi,

I&#039m using MS Access 97 as my backend database, and I need transaction support (commit/rollback).

The scenario is as follows,

When a user fills in a form, sometimes as many as 4 tables need to be updated. I want to ensure that the changes are updated only if all updates are successful. Even if one INSERT/UPDATE fails, all changes need to be rolled back.

As of now, I&#039m using a series of INSERT and UPDATE SQL commands, but don&#039t have any transaction support.

How can I get transaction support so that I can commit or rollback changes, as and when required.

Thanks in advance,

With Regards,
Anuj
Use some if statements in the form module on the update event. (View/code)
