I know that it's a golden rule to design all functionality of components using methods instead of properties when accessing them via ASP (because the extra trips through the COM layer. I'd also assume that the late binding doesn't help either). My question is: Is it ok to use component properties that are only called by other VB components in COM+/COM & MTS applications using early binding. Of course it's ok, but I'm mainly concerned with Performance (as compared to using component properties from ASP). If anyone has any reference links to detailed information about this structure, please include.
