Default Hmm... that's peculiar.

    Hi everyone,

I have a textbox on a form that when there is something entered and the focus is lost, it refreshes the screen and checks the database to see if the value is already in the system. With values that are all numbers, the page is fine. If the value is letters and numbers, i.e. CS1123432, the page loads but I get an error stating that the value is undefined. Why is it doing this? I checked the datatype of the field where the values are going into and the type is nvarchar, so I do not know why I am getting this error. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

How are you checking the database? Stored procedure w/ params? Preparing a sql statement to execute?

Is the database check breaking or is it breaking after the check?

What's the line of code where the error occurs?
