For additional information specific to this message please visit the Microsoft Online Support site located at: http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. "

it means i am not having that DLL so where can i get this DLL
Hi Raghavendra,

Which version of SQL Server are you using? The reason I am asking is if you have SQL Server 2000 you need sqldmo.dll instead of sqlole.dll and I would also verify you are using the correct prog id in your server.createobject statement.

Pete
simply do a find for this file on your database server? As for me sending it to you, I'm at a client site and I'm not about to go searching their servers for your file.

Good luck.

Pete
Hi Pete
I had searched in my database server, i am not having this object library that's why i had asked you. Any way if your not interested then i can't do any thing. Okay thank you for your suggestion.
Obviously I'm trying to help you here. Are you sure you need sqlole.dll for SQL Server 7.0? If you really need it, it seems strange to me you would have sqldmo.dll installed and not this file. Maybe your SQL server was installed incorrectly.

Also, you said before you got an invalid prog id error message. If I can make a suggestion, check your com objects installed on your machine using the ole/com viewer utility from microsoft to see if you are using the correct prog id.

Pete
