Default QueryString special characters

    When you&#039re doing a response.redirect and you have spaces in the querystring, it will break the redirect. For instance:

response.redirect "script.asp?var1=user name&UserId=3" - what is the special char you need to insert instead of the space? (It&#039s something like "%2f%". Is there a published list of these characters?

    Just use the URLEncode function. That will place all of the special characters in the string for you.

ex:
string = Server.URLEncode(string)

Steve
steve @dvdinsider.com
