Default Readonly

    i have used <Input type = "text" name = "mytextbox" Readonly> to have a readonly textbox. It is working fine with IE. But the same does not give a readonly textbox in Netscape. So, i changed the tag to <Input type = "Readonly" name = "mytextbox" Readonly>.
This gives a readonly textbox in both IE and Netscape. But in Netscape alone, i am not able to change the value of the readonly textbox. Any suggestions in this regard is greatly appreciated.

    In order to have or SIMULATE a read only <textbox> in both Netscape and Explorer you'll have to use:

<input type="text" name="txt" size="10" onFocus="this.blur();">

That is:
onFocus="this.blur();"
