Whenever I load this page on our production web server it creates a .ldb file that persists. When I load it on the dev server, no .ldb file is created or if it is it is deleted immediately. Currently, the .ldb file isn't causing any problems, but I believe it will down the road when I'm updating the database.

Can anyone help me out with this problem? Here is the code:

<%
Dim objConn, strConn, objRS
set objConn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
strConn = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; Data Source=" & Server.MapPath("/data/members.mdb")
objConn.Mode = adModeRead
objConn.Open strConn
Set objRS = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")
objRS.LockType = adLockReadOnly
objRS.CursorType = adOpenForwardOnly
objRS.Open "Select * From Members Order By Member_ID", objConn

... response.write stuff ...

objRS.Close
objConn.Close
Set objRS = Nothing
Set objConn = Nothing
%>
