    Default What is wrong with this code?

    The following code yields the error message below:<BR><BR>Dim rstFollow<BR>Set rstFollow=Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")<B R>strSQL = "SELECT * FROM Follow WHERE enc_id = " & crecid & ";"<BR>rstFollow.Open strSQL, con, adOpenStatic, adLockOptimistic, adCmdText<BR> <BR>rstFollow("g1location") = Trim(curl)<BR>rstFollow.Update<BR> <BR>Error message:<BR><BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error &#039 80004005&#039 <BR><BR>Microsoft][ODBC Visual FoxPro Driver]SQL: Statement too long. <BR><BR>pointing to the statement rstFollow.Update.<BR><BR>I have checked the ADO connections etc. and everything is ok. The strSQL is correct.<BR><BR>Any thoughts why I keep getting this error message? The same lines of code work for other databases in my asp-set.<BR><BR>Thanks in advance.<BR>Raza<BR><BR>

    Have you checked the "crecid"? Have you trim it?
