Default pointing to content from other website

    Hi there,

Great site you got there and it has been very useful to me indeed. I have one problem tho. I've done some research but couldn't find a solution to my answer.

Well you see, I have a webpage residing on a server which is UNIX-based. My client is running his webpage on NT server and he uses asp for his website whereelse I use PHP. The problem now is my client wanted to use the date functionalities and banner add DIRECTLY from my site. I've created a tempate/page where he can get the header and the date (call this header).

As he uses a different platform and I use another, he cannot get the coding straight away into his site. I suggested that he point his header to this link :
http://www.oicexchange.com/index.php?tpl_id=51

and retrieve the whole content as the header for his webpage. He only wants that part but the content of his website - that's up to him.

I've read about include files and decided to test it myself.. I simpy put :
<!--#include virtual="http://www.oicexchange.com/index.php?tpl_id=51"-->
on my asp page, and run it on a ASP-enabled server but it returns this message:

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0126'

Include file not found

/norhasni/ihilal.asp, line 15

The include file 'http://www.oicexchange.com/index.php?tpl_id=51' was not found.

is there any way I can include the content of the link as well as preserving his original code?

Thanks for your help. Your help is much appreciated..

Yours truly
Norhasni
OICexchange.com
