Bear with me i'm (very) new to this and i'm not sure I grasp the finer points (or even the thicker ones). In all the introductory articles I've read people state that xml is the almighty, cross platform might transferer of data that we've been waiting for and then goes on to state the endless possibilities of xml. However, in any example i've seen there seems to be twice as much work for half the result. Ok, so it adds meaning (if you type long enough) and it can do databases, whats new? What are these limitless capabilities and where are working examples of the brilliance of xml?!
