    Default Multi Access

    How to handle multiple users transations in ASP. i.e. when different users trying to access the database (Or) same record in a table simeltaneously. Do we have to write seperate code for this ? Or the Web server internally handles this scenario ? Please explain.

    well u can lock the recordset so that<BR>when one person is doing <BR>something others can&#039t.<BR> u can either lock<BR>it pessimitically or<BR>optimistically by<BR>specifying when u open the recordset.<BR>for e.g:-<BR> "select * from products",con,adopenkeyset,adlockpessimistic<BR> here i have locked pessimistically.<BR> for more details u can refer msdn.
