    Default Working with a COM

    I'm going to want to create a couple of COM objects to handle updating my DB - before I begin however, what is the best way to handle passing arguments to them? I'm currently using the Request.Form("variable") object...

    Psuedo Example:<BR><BR><BR>VBCODE:<BR>------------------<BR>Function AddUser( ByVal strUsername as Variant, ByVal strPass as Variant) as Boolean<BR><BR>&#039; code to do the crap here<BR><BR>End Function<BR><BR>ASP:<BR>--------<BR>(**NEED TO Reference the Object**)<BR><BR>Set oUser = Server.CreateObject("ProjectName.Classname")<BR><B R>Status = oUser.AddUser("jim", "joy")<BR><BR>Status will be either True or False....Success or Fail....<BR><BR>Hope this helps.<BR><BR>You&#039;ll need to write better code than this, error handling etc., but this should give you an idea of what it looks like.<BR><BR>
