I have a form that has 2 items on it. Date and time. The date can be manually entered or can be entered via a calendar. The times can be selected from a drop down with about 10 choices. That data goes into an Access 2000 database and the field are set to short date and time. So if I use that page to enter a date and time the fields in the database show:

fdate 10/24/01
ftime 6:30:00

The trailing :00 are not in the drop down and are added by Access.

Now if I run this code and select the date and time that was just enetered on the form I get "date is new" and I sould not!

SQL = "SELECT * FROM tes WHERE fdate = #" &fdate& "# AND ftime = #" &ftime& "#"
set oRs = conn.Execute(SQL)
If oRs.EOF Then
Response.write "date is new"
Else
Response.write "date exists"
End If

However if I open the database and manually enter a date and time and then run the above code for that date and time I get "date exists". Bothe entries look exactly the same in the database and response.write sql look identical as well. What am I missing here??? Any help is appreciated.
