I have an access database where one field is designated as date/time. I get an error when the field already contains a date and I want to blank it out. Eg - it has 8/22/01 in it and because of something that is submitted to the database, it needs to be blank. Whenever I try to set it to date = "" in my script, I get a "Data type mismatch in criteria expression". Is there ssomething that I am missing because it is a date field or will access not let you blank out a field like that because it is designated as a date/time field? Any help would be appreciated.
