Default How to launch an Access app from asp

Is there a way to launch an MS-Access97 application from an asp? I&#039;m new to asp.<BR><BR>What I had in mind is something similar to the "Shell" command in VBA (Shell isn&#039;t available in VBScript). Example:<BR> <BR> Shell "C:WinNtNotepad.exe", vbMaximizedFocus<BR><BR>The above shell command opens up Notepad (maximized view).<BR><BR>I&#039;m hoping there&#039;s a similar way to do this in asp. <BR><BR><BR>If I use "Href" to link to the file it prompts me to either download the file or open it from its current location. I don&#039;t want this.<BR><BR>Any help would be appreciated. Thank you<BR>

    Default Why?

    Default File extension

Browser are meant to display certain types of files. The most common being HTML documents. If the document you are trying to open is HTML, then just make sure the extension is one that the browser recognizes as a HTML document.
