** SORRY IF THIS IS CROSSPOST, BUT I NEED HELP PLEASE! **

Howdy,

I am trying to troubleshoot Netscape issues, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why Netscape prompts me for my user and pass.

I am working on a Win2K box, and I have allowed anonymous access on my default web (the one I'm trying to view in netscape). But I have changed the anonymous user account to my domain login and password, which seems to work out just great on IE, but not on NN.

I know only enough to be dangerous as far as using the ISM. can anyone else offer any help or insight?

Thanks!

you'll probably find that ie is authenticating you in the background (bless it)

in the directory security tab makes sure that windows authentication is off, or in other words, just the first two options (allow anonymous and basic authentication) are set.#

Restart ie and you'll probably find that you now get prompted
