Default IIS Permissons and Netscape

    Howdy,

I am trying to troubleshoot Netscape issues, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why Netscape prompts me for my user and pass.

I am working on a Win2K box, and I have allowed anonymous access on my default web (the one I'm trying to view in netscape). But I have changed the anonymous user account to my domain login and password, which seems to work out just great on IE, but not on NN.

I know only enough to be dangerous as far as using the ISM. can anyone else offer any help or insight?

Thanks!

you have probably set your server to use integrated windows authentication, which netscape natuarally doesnt support (i dont think anyway) because its a proprietary authentication scheme. if you go into IIS manager and uncheck integrated windows authentication, you shouldnt have any problems...
