    Default Safe form-submissions - Encryption?

    This is the problem:<BR><BR>I have a site with a section designed for members. To log-in, people can enter both their ID and pass in a form elsewhere on the site. The problem is that the submitted results are send to the server but can be intercepted easily!! Now, how i can get around this problem and safely send passwords over the net to get them processed by the server. Do i need some form of client-side encryption and server-side decryption?

    SSL encryption is a good choice fo both form-based and basic authentication user/password encryption. Evaluate getting a server key at

    SSL is not an option here, i wish it was :)
