I have a text input field that runs a javascript function on change. This field's name is generated dynamically with the page (so I assume I would have to pass it's name or something with the function). The function that runs creates a pop-up window that runs some calculations. If there are no errors, it simply closes and you can continue on the page. If it does get errors though, it displays just what they are. Then, when the user closes the window (which means there was an error), I want the cursor to return to the text box where the function was called from.

I have the window and all working, I just need to know how to set focus back to the origanal field when the user closes it (but not when it closes itself). I'm not really familar with how the DOM works, expecially with multiple windows, so any help would be appreciated.
