I've got a table on a SQL Server 2000 database that I need to run FTS on. When I right click on the table to define it as an FTS table, the option is greyed out. However, when I connect to any other database table on another database server and try it, it's not greyed out. My host is saying that it's a problem on my end. However, if it was, then I'm thinking I should not be able to connect to any SQL Server and have that option enabled. But this is not the case. I can connect to other databases in Enterprise Manager and select that option with no problem. It's just with my host that I can't get that option. However, they sent me a screenshot where it is enabled for them. So, I'm wondering why they can get it and I can't? This is driving me nuts...anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
