    Default increment in SQL

    Hello. I am trying to set a column in SQL to allow me to count. How do I get each row set to a default of 0 so I can count? I have the field set to int.<BR><BR>I know these are easy questions but I have looked everywhere for this answer. This SQL is very cool but no extremely clear.<BR>Thanks a bunch,<BR><BR>Rob

    *<BR>In MS SQL-6.5, Use IDENTITY property of column (field) .<BR>While creating the table, right Click to popup the property window. Select IDENTITY.<BR><BR>Good Luck
