Can you redirect a person who searches a database where no records found? Instead of letting them see the nasty EOF or BOF true message. Can they be redirected if EOF or BOF is true and nothing was found. if so how?
I think IIS 5 does this differently, but a little of the old "Response.Redirect" would work here...

If Not ADORS.EOF Then
'loop through recordset
Else
Response.Redirect("http://www.....")
End If

And so forth...

Apparently, with IIS 5 and 2000, you can do Server.Transfer for redirects. This causes the URL not to change, but will point the browser to another page. This is useful, I guess when coding for the search engines, but it apparently puts slightly more load on the server. I haven't yet used this technique, but it intrigues me...

More info? **** right! It's at:
http://www.asp101.com/articles/wayne/extendingnames/default.asp
