Well everyone who knows about ASP, no doubt knows all about HTML. with one exception... ME.

here's the problem: we have people write articles for us at their house, and then they send them to us for us to upload to the website through FTP. this is not convenient. what we're trying to do is have a place on our website where they can attach it to a form and upload it through the website.

i can make the form and have it transfer a file, here's where my problem is:

how do i handle the data being received? obviously if you submit your name through a text box named "Firstname" then all you have to do on the server is <% Request("Firstname") %> but what about files? i need to make sure the file goes to a specific folder, and though it is not important, it would be nice for it to check the filename of the file being uploaded, as our filenames follow a specific naming scheme.

i've looked into SoftArtisans FileUp, but that's not a practical solution as our Hosting Service Providers won't install custom software, due to "a potential security risk" (assholes)

so here's my problem. help me out guys!
