    Originally posted to ASP Q&A... sorry for the cross-post.<BR><BR>We are looking into standing up an Intranet web server. We are kicking around the idea of buying Win2000 server for this. However, we are short of funds (aren&#039;t we all), and already have a license for Win2K Professional. We will only be serving pages to about 200 clients, and it will not be a very heavy load. Does IIS 5 require W2K Server, or will it work just fine on W2K Pro - and if so, are there any disadvantages to running it on W2K pro? We will be doing MS Access database retrieval functions via ASP.

    Default It'll work on Pro...But...

    There is a hard-coded limit of 10 concurrent connections.
