Thanks for the quick response to my question on tags. This question originates from a stickier problem, as follows:

1. Local Page 1 with form submits (method POST) to a page on another server.

2. Remote page (.dll) returns values from remote server via automated return (method POST) to Local Page 2, which captures info into session variables.

3. Local page 2 loads gets the correct values from remote server but still shows remote server URL in location window.

4. I don't want the user to see the remote URL, so I am trying to "erase" the location URL from Local Page 2 by issuing a window.location.replace command AFTER successful capture of the information from the remote server. (I know the information is being captured because it prints.)

PROBLEM:

The 'window.location.replace' command works fine, but all session vars are destroyed when the new URL comes up on the local site.

I don't really need to leave Local Page 2, except for the URL problem. Is there an easier way to hide the remote URL from the user??
