I am connecting to a SQL database through a DSN.
---------------------------
set conn = server.createobject ("adodb.connection")
conn.open "DSN=SIF", "SIFUser"
IF CheckForErrors(conn) = 0 Then
set RSLinks = conn.Execute("select LinkName, LinkLocation, LinkDescription from T_GULinkList " _
& "order by LinkName")
End If
-----------------------------------------
OK the problem is that I have 2 databases. 1 is local and one is a remote SQL server. both have the same table, the same permissions, and the same fields. The problem is that this line segment of code works fine locally, but when I change the DSN to the one that accesses the remote server I get an invalid object name on my Table Name "T_GULinkList." Does anyone know what could cause this?
