Why have a command and a recordset in ASP code. What is the difference in retrieving data using these? Is it that commands are used for Stored Procedures aswell?? I am a little unsure as to the use of commands? Can someone please help me leave my ignorance.

Thanks in advance.
commands are used implicitly any time you execute a query against a datasource - it's basically a SQL string, or a more complex command, you're just not seeing it...

j
