    Default MaxRecords problem...

    Hi!<BR><BR>I&#039ve got the same problem as Ian L yesterday. <BR>I can&#039t set the maxrecords. It just gets all the records. This is my code (DSN is my databaseconnection):<BR><BR>SQL = "Select * from product where productname like &#039a%%&#039"<BR>set rs = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")<BR>Server.S criptTimeOut = 600<BR>maxrec = 10<BR>rs.MaxRecords = maxrec<BR>rs.Open SQL, DSN<BR><BR>Everything works fine, except.. It just returns all the records!, instead of only 10.... WHY???<BR><BR><BR><BR>Please, please, please, can anyone help me with this one??<BR><BR><BR>Many thanks,<BR><BR>Caroline

    From what I read, the MaxRecords property of the Recordset object is a valid property however it is not supported by all of the database providers. I am using ACCESS97 and have not been able to get it to work.<BR><BR><BR>Sorry I couldn&#039t be more help<BR><BR>Mike

    It looks like maxrecords is not supported with access for some reason...supposedly on purpose.<BR><BR>
