## Table Height

How do I go about making a table height 100% of the page minus 147 pixels? I tried <table height=100%-147> but that didn't seem to work.

## simple mathematics

you cannot minus an integer from a percentage. Instead what u cd do is set the table height to less than 100% say 87%

J

## Huh what?

I'm not sure that would work... here is basicly what I have for a table now... I have two rows... one is 147 high, the other needs to be the height of the rest of the page (this isn't counting the other column with the menubar on it, which stretches to the bottom of the page just fine). The one row is right ontop of the other, with the same width.

## RE: simple mathematics

The table needs to go 100% of the page, always... the column needs to be 100% excluding the 147... so once it figues out how many pixels down the page the screen goes, it needs to take 147 off of that.

## RE: Table Height

This might be of help. I have NOT tested it, so it might not work.

<script language="javascript">
document.write("&#0 60;tr height='" + (screen.height-147) + "'>")
document.write("<td>H ello this is some text</td></tr>")
</script>
