    Im going nuts....I can no longer connect to a database on my computer. I have a few db projects on my computer that used to work fine and all of a sudden today I can&#039;t connect to anything (dsn or not)? I recently installed the windows 2000 sp2 maybe that messed things up---here are some of my errors<BR><BR>Error Type:<BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)<BR>[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Disk or network error.<BR><BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)<BR>[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]General error Unable to open registry key &#039;Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process 0x540 Thread 0x724 DBC 0x21cff9c Jet&#039;.<BR><BR>and the always helpfull "unspecified error"

    tried using OLEDB instead of ODBC or DSNs? there&#039;s a tutorial on if you&#039;re stuck.

    Try using providers.It will work

    I&#039;ve had the "Disk or network error" message when a database has got corrupt. Try a repair & compact on the Db and see if that helps.<BR>
