    Default ASP & Dreamweaver?

I&#039;m looking at Macromedia Dreamweaver to replace Front Page 2K - such nice DHTML! But I can&#039;t live without ASP!<BR><BR>Does anyone have any input or opinions on how well Dreamweaver integrates with ASP & ASP coding? Any sites around that address this issue?<BR><BR>CR

    Default It bites

What we use here:<BR><BR>I use InterDev and/or UltraEdit for ASP coding<BR><BR>The graphics people use Dreamweaver extensively -- great program.<BR><BR>Hey, it beats front page, and won&#039;t mangle your ASP code like FP does. Price tag is a bit steep compared to FP.<BR><BR>Or if you&#039;re a hardcore programmer, open up notepad ;)<BR><BR>If you don&#039;t have VI, go ahead and get Ultraedit ($30)<BR><BR>Nice program<BR><BR>

You can download a free fully capable version of Dreamweaver for up to 3 months of use. I selected 1 month and my time is running out. I like to use FrontPage, Dreamweaver, and InterDev. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. Dreamweaver will write a lot of code for you so it depends how much control you wish to have.
