Does any one know a script to protect the metatag. In other words, a normal visitor see another metatag then the spider does.

Hopefully someone can help me!

greets
stef

    Check the hostname of the request then write the appropriate header dependant on whether they're the spider or not.

But Unless you know what the address of the spider is (i.e. on an intranet) it could be tricky, however most spiders have something like the words 'Bot' or 'crawler' or 'search' in the domain/hostnames so you could try checking for that.

The code you need is:
<%
HostName = Request.ServerVariables("REMOTE_ADDR")
%>< BR>
