Default Text Area's

    Hi,

When someone types some text into a text area inside a form, this text would typically be paragraphed.

If when the form is submitted the text area's contents is saved into a database, how could it be possible for ASP to automatically add the correct formatting tags, i.e. <p>'s so that when the text area is later displayed on a page the text is paragraphed correctly the same way the user originally typed it and not in one large block that tends to happen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jarvis

    Default Don't do it...

    Before you put it into the database, but after you have pulled it out and are about to display it.

Then...Use something like this.

TextBlock = Replace(TextBlock, vbCrLf, "<br>")
