Default converting physical path to virtual path ...

    Hi,

I've managed to create and save word files in our web server. It's working fine.

But my problem is I'm not able to convert the physical path of the file to the virtual path so I can display the link to the client. For example, I created "c3cr.doc" file in the
"C:inetpubwwwrootdocuments\" folder. How can I convert this path to the virtual path? Please note that I'm creating the file names dynamically using FSO's GetTempName method. Please help me.

Harsha Bhogle

    Default Okay, where to start...

    You created them in:
c:inetpubwwwrootdocuments
Where is your web located?
usually webs are in subfolders of wwwroot like
c:inetpubwwwrootmyweb
but if your web is the wwwroot folder, the virtual path would be:
right$(physicalpath,len(physicalpath)-19))
(It takes off the c:inetpubwwwroot part of the path)

-- Whol
