Default MS Access Link Failure

I have an access database that has a connection to an ODBC data source through a linked table.. When I view the linked table everything works great in Access, but ASP won't run against it. My thoughts are that it is a userId/pass issue, but I'm not sure.. Has anyone else run into this? The access db I'm connecting to does not require a userid and pass, but the linked odbc table inside of it, does. The proprietary data source setup for the datasource that the link is using doesn't seem to have a place to hardcode a userid and pass. Anmy workarounds or ideas?

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] ODBC--connection to 'SYSTEM720' failed.

Dina.
