Hi all,

I manage a large site created using ASP. All content on the pages of the site comes dynamically from the contents of an SQL database. At present there is only meta tags in the default page of the site (this page is simple HTML). However, I want individual pages to show up in search engine results.

I was wondering how this can be done given that the pages are dynamically created. Can search engines reference meta tags if those meta tags are pulled from a database and put into an ASP page??

I have a feeling it cannot - simply as I have cannot recall being brought to an ASP page within a site from a search engine.

Any help on this will be much appreciated. I am sure it is a problem many of you will have (or at least should have) come across before.

Cheers,
Simon
