Default Manually incrementing a field

I had to import an ACCESS table into my SQL database. I now have a column (ID) which WAS an identity field, but had to be changed to a CHAR for the import. Anyways, thats not the issue.

What I need to do is increment the ID column +1 for the whole table. And then when it's through, I'll change it back to an IDENTITY field.

Thanks for the help.
