Default Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider Nightmare

    Whats happening to my ASP?

One one page I have three calls to the database, using Jet 4.0 OLE DB. The first two work just fine, the third gets caught up and says only "error '80004005'". Its getting caught on the line: rs.Open SQL, Conn

It used to work OK using DSN file and ODBC. Is there some change in the SQL that is needed??

The SQL statment (in this example) is;
SQL = "SELECT Code, Description, Colour, Size, UnitPrice FROM Products WHERE (SubCategory = '" & ListCat(co) & "') ORDER BY Code"

Thanks
Default Could be anything...

    What is the error you are getting? I don't have the numbers memorized, so refresh my memory on what error 80004005 is, also you may want to look into using a provider instead of a jet statement... like this...

con_bd.Open "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=" & server.mappath("db.mdb")

IT gives better detailed errors and is generally less error prone...

-- Whol
