Default Help my sessions dissappear

I have a simple link from one page to another and all the session variables disappear. I am not using a global.asa file. I'm not using session.abandon.

Can closing a connection make a session disappear?

I'm fluMmoxed. Anyone have any experience with this type of problem?

Are you using frames? Frames lose session variables sometimes.

    Default ANSWER and QUESTION

I figured out that I was losing my session because the link went to another directory. Obviously this is a server issue, not an ASP issue. I solved the problem temporarily by moving the page to the same directory as the link to it.

Does anyone know what directory/server/IIS/goddam settings need to be changed so that IIS recognizes a directory as part of the same site?

Default Not really

Is it a whole separate virtual directory or is it all part of the same "site"?

    Default RE: Not really

Virtual directory and that answers the problem, I think.
