    Default Encoding your asp

    I was either dreaming or i have read this somewhere and cannot find the source.<BR><BR>Is there anyway that I can encode my asp pages non-human readable for when I place them on a live server. So people will not be able to look at my source ?<BR><BR>Any ideas ?<BR><BR>Youeee

    Default it's going to be alright.

    your potential "code reader" would need access to you server&#039;s file system in order view your source. on a win32/iis box, when a page is requested with the .asp extension the document is then passed to the asp interpreter (asp.dll), which in simple terms takes everything between the delimiters (&#060;%%&#062;) and converts it to html. as far as your browser knows it&#039;s just rendering an html page.
