Default Using VBScript error handling within JScript ASP

I am accessing an SQL database and want to gracefully handle error conditions. I am using JavaScript for the client and server side, but I would like to use VBScript&#039s On error, resume clause to handle DB errors, since it appears to be more straightforward for error handling. How do I implement a VBScript subroutine within a JavaScript page? Thanks for the info!
