Default Re-query in ASP

    Hi All,

Does anyone know how to perform a "re-query" in an Active Server Page? I have one dynamically populated drop-down box, and would like to have another drop down box depend on the selection in the first drop-down box.

I&#039d like to perform a re-query (like in an Access DB) when a new selection is made, but do not know how to do it, and don&#039t want to have to use a push button and send the results to another ASP running the query. Any ideas on how to create these actions after a selection is made?

thanks,
adam

    Default RE: Re-query in ASP

Have the form submit back to itself, using the onChange event of the drop down, and a document.formnaum.submit(); function in javascript.

Then you should be able to capture the value of the first box, and use it to perform the query for the second box, and so on.

HTH

Jerry
