Default Putting a dynamic site onto a CD

    Hi,

I have a website made up of ASP pages created from an Access 2000 database, all put together in UltraDev. I've been asked if I could put the site onto CD for distribution. Is this possible? Or if it's not (assuming it must run on a server), is there a good way to 'fake' it?

Thanks

Square Eye

It's not possible. ASP needs a server to serve up the pages. Without the server, the pages cannot execute. Is this for distribution or just a demo? If it's for a demo, consider using static HTML for the demo, if it's for distribution, make sure you only distribute the raw files and none of the server extensions or anything like that.

Good luck!

Killroy
