Default Text Formatting

I&#039m looking for the best solution to formatting text from a database. For now I&#039m simply converting the text into Unicode using the escape function and then replacing the "%0D%0A%0D%0A" with a <P> tag.

Can someone offer some advice on how to do more complex formatting with spaces, breaks, etc.?

Thanks in advance,
Brett
